Personal, Social and Health Education
PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) underpins all other subject areas. At Greenmeadow, we believe it is an important and necessary part of all pupils education. PSHE allows children to develop an awareness of who they are and how they can look after themselves and others.
We use the excellent Jigsaw Scheme to support our teaching of PSHE. This scheme covers areas such as; drugs, alcohol and tobacco education, financial awareness, cyber and homophobic bullying, relationships, health education, body image and self-esteem. This scheme also allows for spiritual, moral, social and cultural education to be explored throughout the year.
